This week the NTS training plans will focus on intensity and racing. While the elite plan kicks off the winter race season (Check out Race Prep 101 and Race Day Warmup for new ideas) the junior and master plans recommend interval sessions. Do you follow the elite plan but have no competitions this week? We recommend following the junior plan while adding 1-2 hours of easy distance training to the week. The masters plan has a new In Season General/Max Strength plan. Remember if you are new to snow it always makes sense to focus on easy skiing and drills the first few days.
