Week 6

Welcome to June! For a lot of teams June 1st marks the beginning of REAL summer training. Have you been out on your rollerskis yet? If not check out Scott Lacy's video, Returning to Rollerskis for helpful tips on ways to control your speed and improve your balance. We will reduce total training volume this week to make sure athletes absorb each session while focusing on technique and specific strength.  We recommend one L3 interval session this week. Check out How We Plan Threshold for information on interval periodization for the summer. This is the last week in our general strength phase and we will begin max strength next week!
