This midsummer recovery week is designed to help athletes absorb the last two weeks of training and prepare for two big weeks to come! A typical summer recovery week at NTS will consist of 8-10 hours across all training plans and include one interval session and speed day. This week we focus on skate technique drills without poles. We channel some Grant Fisher running technique in our foot speeds, and execute a shorter duration L3 session. Recovery weeks are a great time to catch up on rest and quality nutrition!
