After last week's high intensity we settle into longer L1 and threshold training sessions this week. August training weeks are often some of the highest volume training weeks for skiers. We recommend a specific strength workout on Tuesday for both the masters and juniors. Even if you just skate rollerski in the summer, specific strength workouts can be done w/ skate gear. Spend some time during easy distance rollerski sessions this week to work on technique drills. Hannah Rudd shares some drill ideas and we post a useful video for coaches on identifying late kicks.
