Week 39

Before we start an important TRAINING BLOCK and TAPER phase of our winter preparations we focus on reduced volume and quality training this week. As we know, speed training is important for all skiers to build power and coordination on skis. Check out the Over The Top Speeds and Corning Speeds workout. Building specific strength in the winter can be difficult. Check out our new January Specific Strength session for the perfect workout to improve upper body strength between races this winter. The Elite and Junior plans continue to focus on race preparation. Inspired by last week's World Cup races in France, we recommend some specific herringbone practice this week within an interval session.
