Week 6

This week we focus on higher intesnity, rollerski fundamentals, and specific strength. Check out our Back To Basics video for skate rollerski drills that are appropriate for everyone, especially those who are not comfortable on rollerskis. If you are up for it, test your baseline double pole strength in an uphill DP test or SkiErgtest. Plus, we outline a new no-pole uphill session desinged to train effective weight shift and leg strength. Over the next month we will explore new ways for skiers to imporve thier balance in the off-season. First up, Ned Dowling outlines how good posture and strength apply to balance on skis.
