Historically, this week has seen a larger volume of skiers of all ages and ability levels. If you are skiing on snow, it's a great opportunity to log some easier Level 1 days on snow to increase your comfort level on skis. For dryland training, we can still focus on easy volume building but feel free to adjust the training modalities to suit your weather conditions. One-pole skiing and focused technique work are particularly beneficial during the first days on snow as well as on rollerskis. Remember, you can always replace rollerski and skiing recommendations with skierging, cycling, or hiking with poles.
