The next two weeks will focus on high volume and big training hours. Weeks 14 and 15 will be some of our biggest volume weeks of the summer with a focus on lots of easy distance L1 training and over-distance workouts.
Week 14 will be a medium/volume week with moderate intensity while week 15 will be even bigger with several OD workouts. Check out the uphill transition video for insight on this week's speed session. All plans incorporate some longer L3 intervals and we switch over to a new conversion to power strength routine.
- As we kick up the volume training make sure that easy distance and OD workouts are in L1. At this point in the training year we should have built up enough efficiency where we can focus on skiing with good technique but also at an easy pace for extended periods of time.
