March is when we need to be flexible with our training and make skiing fun if we still have access to snow. If you have no skiing left in your area, we recommend reducing total training volume this week and slowly transitioning to dry land modalities like running and cycling. Try to avoid any back-to-back days of either modality at first or keep your volume very conservative.
If you are still skiing, we recommend some interesting and unique sessions this week. Try a 'float speed session' and some lower body specific strength. For intensity we recommend a fun team sprint workout with friends or if you are feeling motivated replace this session with a L4 interval day to close out the intensity portion of our season.
