In September and October our training focus shifts slightly toward higher intensity but it is still important to push the volume during specific weeks. This hard/volume week will not be as big as some of our mid-summer epic weeks but will give us a little 'volume bump' after some solid September intensity.
Easy distance sessions and specific strength make up the majority of the week with a new Vo2max building session on the weekend. This will be our last week of velocity based strength before returning to heavy lifting.
