Week 39

After several high intensity sessions last week we have now transitioned to some easy distance L1 days to start off this medium/volume week. As skiers become more advance in their training it's even more important to keep the distance pace L1 during the mid-winter. We focus on just one L4 interval session this week with some challenging 5min repetitions that will help skiers build their Vo2man and work on race pacing.

NOTES:
- We use Tuesday as a specific strength building day. Focus on good DP technique while climbing hills. It's OK to evaluate the heart rate into L2 but do not turn this into an interval session. 

- We recommend x2 power based maintenance strength routines. If racing on the weekend replace with a maintenance strength based routine.
