After a three-week block of solid intensity and volume this week is designed to help athletes recover before October intensity really ramps up. This is also the time of year when you will see more variation among the junior, master, and elite plans. Generally, the elite plan will recommend more L4 intensity in October since elite teams need to be in race form by December and January in order to qualify for international events.
