Week 29

As we reach the end of our season preparation period (first 32 weeks of the training year) it's a great time to revisit some of our physical tests. This week we recommend a double pole test, an uphill run test, and a strength test. These tests are a great way to measure fitness and specific strength improvement while also providing quality max-effort sessions. A perfect way to cap off our intensity period. (see below for substitution recommendations).
Remember to review your double pole test video if possible, and check out part two of Kurt Jepson's Double pole science. If shoulder weather has you in a pinch Scott Lacy offers up some helpful tips and we re-post our Skierg workout recommendations.
