Week 10

Ahhh, nothing like a July volume week! Skiers are made in the summer and July is the time of year when we can take advantage of long days, less work, and more time to log distance training. Why do we plan so much easy distance training in the summer? Check out our repost of Why We O.D. for a look inside the science behind controlled L1 distance skiing. Volume weeks can also mean increased L3 interval on-time. We recommend 1-2 long duration threshold sessions this week to build even more efficiency. Remember to bring plenty of snacks and fuel with you during all volume week workouts. Want to improve your classic body position and kick?
