Recovery is important for all skiers this time of year but there are many factors that can influence a skier's individual recovery needs. Check out our updated Time Off recommendations to learn how much April recovery time is good for you. Needless to say, everyone's April training can look a little different. My recommendation for any athlete carrying some fatigue from a busy race season is to take two weeks away from structured training with very light aerobic workouts. This can mean multiple off days within the week and short active recovery sessions. We will still update the NTS training plans through April but remember that these recommendations might be too much or too little training for certain athletes.
