In this early season medium week we increase total training hours and implement one L3 interval session. Check out Dr. Sarah Willis' entry about what happens to our bodies during interval training. We also post a new video giving an unscientific explanation of training adaptation. Make sure easy distance sessions, especially our first rollerski sessions, are done at a controlled L1 pace. Give yourself time to adjust to the new training load with an extra off day this week and keep the strength sessions light to moderate.
