Week 16

This week Nordic Team Solutions is coming to you from Park City where the US Ski Team hosts their National Training Group Camp. August training camps like this are an example of big 'all around' weeks that are common this time of year with elite skiers. Week 16 is perhaps one of the biggest 'all around' weeks of the year mixing in some solid volume while prioritizing quality L4B sessions, threshold, and speed.

NOTES: 

- Week 16 introduces our first L4B interval session of the year. To read more about how to execute a L4B session check out August L4B

 - We continue with two August strength sessions that focus on max and power. We also add in one extra core strength session in the afternoon. For this session athletes can chose a core routine from either day 1 or day 2 strength (or something new.... TRX routines are great for these afternoon core sessions) 

 - Our threshold focus returns to a steady state session. Look for rolling but challenging terrain for this session to practice a mix of classical techniques
