Week 31

It's Thanksgiving week here in the US and there's no better time for a solid volume week. Take advantage of time away from work or school to add in more easy distance training this week. We have scheduled conservative plans for both the Junior and Master so feel free to add in easy distance training on non-intensity days. If you are making the transition to snow make sure to spend at least 30 minutes on snow working on technique drills before crushing out kilometers. If you are still dry land training, no problem! Use this week to prioritize ski specific training on rollerskis or on foot. 

The key to a good volume week is to not go overboard during the first few days. Ease into the week and load up on Over Distance training toward the end of the week. Always prioritize good technique during easy distance sessions. 











































Note - The Elite plan calls for a sprint TT early in the week. This can be done as a sprint simulation or hard interval session. The priority is to practice your qualification warm up protocol and space out your hard efforts similar to a sprint race.
