Week 44

Welcome to Birkie week! Our masters plan will be pretty fluid this week depending on what day folks are racing the birkie or virtually racing. We recommend easy distance skiing on Monday then incorporating an off or very easy day 2 days prior to your race. Then fire up the engines with a good race prep (see our re-post of race prep 101) 
Our Elite and Junior plans both reduce their training load as we begin to taper back for important regional races to come. The beginning of the week incorporates some good recovery, we switch over to a velocity based maintenance strength plan, and hit some shorter L4 intervals on the weekend.
