Week 49

With just a few more weeks left in the training year, skiers can be in very different mindsets going into April. Many World Cup skiers, who have raced over 30 competitions this season, will enter into a recovery phase for several weeks. Junior athletes might begin to transition into other sports while some of us might have more racing opportunities. For the next two weeks we will continue to recommend skiing workouts in the NTS plans while also mixing in more dry-land modalities. If you do not have access to convenient skiing feel free to replace any session with running, cycling, or any other fun spring activity. Make sure to ease into both running and cycling to avoid injury. (If you are not racing any more this season reference the Junior and Elite plans for guidance this week)
