We reduce training volume this week to prioritize recovery and one high intensity effort. During the first half of the week we will focus on easy distance and technique. Check out our new specific strength session to incorporate some no-pole speeds into your workout. Easy weeks in June are a great time to implement two off days to ensure we absorb the first 6 weeks of the training year. This week also provides a nice opportunity to test our double pole strength with the NTS DP test protocol. In addition we start a new 6-week max strength program designed to improve upper body strength.
