2023- 2024 Training outlines

Junior 475 hour plan
Our junior plan is designed for developing atheltes ages 15-18. This plan will incorporate some double sessions but not a ton. When following this plan coaches and parents must remember there can be big variation in athletic development during this age window. This plan will not be appropriate for ALL 15 year olds. 
Biggest training periods are 4 (July/Aug) and 8 (Nov) . 
Winter training weeks are periodized around consistent domestic racing and a Junior Nationals peak in early March. 


Master 550 hour plan
Designed for working professionals who want to take their skiing to the next level. Our master plan will focus on single session training days during the week and prioritize doubles and longer training efforts on the weekends. Weekly training hours will fluctuate between 7-13 hours per week. Biggest training blocks are period 5 (Aug/Sept), period 8 (Nov), and period 10 (Jan)
Winter training weeks are periodized around popular marathon races and a mid February peak for races such as Birkie and World Masters. 


Elite 650 hour plan
Designed as an introduction to full-time ski training. Our Elite plan will incorporate larger training weeks, up to 18-20 hrs during training camp weeks. Interval days will be more frequent along with more interval on-time each session. Biggest training periods are period 4 (July) and 5 (Aug/sept). Winter training weeks are periodized around the SuperTour racing calendar and a double peak - One mini peak in early January and one in mid February.
